Why not take the chance if you have it?!
- And so I decided at the beginning of 8/97 to visit a friend at Washington DC. She is also German like me and was working in an internship at the Worlbank for 6 month. So I searched for a cheap flight and spent the weekend in the Eastern part of the US. This was my first time on the East Coast. Anyway - I haven't seen the coast - but during all my other travels through the US I haven't been more eastern than New Orleans. - But that's an other story.
Ok, let's step back! - 2 days in Washington! Yes it was nice. For 2 days I was doing all that tourist stuff that all the other internationals were doing. except in the night. - And that's great in Washington. There are so many different flavours of food that I didn't knew what I should taste at first.
